The Nasdaq Index closes the session down moderately at -0.82%
At the end of the last transactions, the flagship index of the US technology exchange is down -0.82% to 15090.2 points.
The trading session was not very active with a trading volume of 122.11 billion dollars. 608.89 million shares were traded. 49 stocks finished in the green and 50 were down.
The best performance of the day was attributed to eBay with 5.75% to 80.59 dollars. In second place on the podium, KLA closed the session at 343.03 dollars, up 2.24%, followed by Intuit at 590.8 dollars (2.15%).
At the bottom of the pack is Intel. The share ends the trading session down -11.68% to 49.46 dollars. MercadoLibre and Facebook are also lagging behind.
Several stocks (Align Technology, Applied Materials, eBay, Facebook, Honeywell, Intel, KLA, Lam Research, MercadoLibre, Netflix, PayPal et Pinduoduo) recorded large trading volumes, one-third higher than their daily average.
