The US stock exchange Nasdaq ends the session up moderately at 0.33%
At market close, the flagship index of the US technology exchange rises by 0.33% to 15498.39 points.
The trading session was not very active with a trading volume of 162.07 billion dollars. 687.34 million shares changed hands. 59 stocks finished in the green and 39 were down.
The best performance of the day was attributed to Atlassian with 9.78% to 458.13 dollars. In second place on the podium, Dexcom closed the session at 623.49 dollars, up 9.32%, followed by eBay at 76.72 dollars (5.95%).
At the bottom of the pack is Starbucks. The stock ends the trading day down -6.3% to 106.07 dollars. Charter Communications and Baidu are also lagging behind.
Several stocks (Amazon, Apple, Atlassian, Baidu, Cerner, Charter Communications, Check Point Software, Comcast, Dexcom, eBay, Facebook, Fox, Gilead Sciences, Intel, KLA, Lululemon Athletica, Seagen, Starbucks et VeriSign) recorded large trading volumes, one-third higher than their daily average.
