The US stock exchange Nasdaq closes the session lower at -1.92%

At market close, the flagship index of the US technology exchange is down -1.92% to 15085.47 points.

The trading session was not very active with a trading volume of 196.25 billion dollars. 988.42 million shares changed hands. 32 stocks finished in the green and 68 were down.

The best performance of the day was attributed to Marvell Technology with 17.68% to 83.59 dollars. In second place on the podium, Walgreens Boots Alliance closed the session at 46.53 dollars, up 4.28%, followed by PepsiCo at 164.71 dollars (2.55%).

At the bottom of the pack is DocuSign. The stock ends the trading session down -42.22% to 135.09 dollars. Trip.com and Adobe are also lagging behind.

Several stocks (Adobe, Apple, ASML Holding, Atlassian, Autodesk, Baidu, Cadence Design Systems, Charter Communications, Costco Wholesale, Crowdstrike Holdings, CSX, Dexcom, DocuSign, Exelon, Illumina, Intuit, Intuitive Surgical, JD.com, Keurig Dr Pepper, Lululemon Athletica, Marvell Technology, MercadoLibre, Microchip Technology, Microsoft, NetEase, Netflix, Okta, PepsiCo, Pinduoduo, Seagen, Sirius XM, Splunk, Synopsys, Trip.com, Verisk Analytics, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Workday, Xilinx et Zoom) recorded large trading volumes, one-third higher than their daily average.
