The US stock exchange Nasdaq closes the session very strongly up at 3.34%
At the end of the last transactions, the flagship index of the US technology exchange rises by 3.34% to 13473.59 points.
The trading session was not very active with a trading volume of 215.36 billion dollars. 1,163.57 million shares were traded. 82 stocks finished in the green and 17 were down.
The best performance of the day was attributed to Moderna with 15.1% to 156.23 dollars. In second place on the podium, Crowdstrike Holdings closed the session at 182.88 dollars, up 13.01%, followed by MercadoLibre at 1033.59 dollars (12.28%).
At the bottom of the pack is Booking Holdings. The stock ends the trading day down -7.08% to 2295 dollars. Keurig Dr Pepper and Biogen are also lagging behind.
Several stocks (Adobe, Advanced Micro Devices, American Electric Power, ANSYS, Apple, ASML Holding, Autodesk, Baidu, Booking Holdings, Cadence Design Systems, Charter Communications, Check Point Software, Copart, Crowdstrike Holdings, Dexcom, eBay, Fiserv, Honeywell, Intel, Intuit, Kraft Heinz, Marriott International, MercadoLibre, Microchip Technology, Moderna, Monster Beverage, Okta, PepsiCo, Pinduoduo, Ross Stores, Splunk, Synopsys, Tesla, Verisk Analytics et Zoom) recorded large trading volumes, one-third higher than their daily average.
