The Nasdaq Index closes the session lower at -1.21%

The trading session was moderately active with a trading volume of 137.64 billion dollars. 742.49 million shares changed hands. 24 stocks finished in the green and 75 were down.
The best performance of the day was attributed to Lululemon Athletica with 9.58% to 376.92 dollars. In second place on the podium, Paychex closed the session at 136.89 dollars, up 3.29%, followed by Automatic Data Processing at 227.76 dollars (1.25%).
At the bottom of the pack is Peloton Interactive. The stock ends the trading session down -7.93% to 28.44 dollars. QUALCOMM and Microchip Technology are also lagging behind.
Several stocks (Lululemon Athletica, Micron Technology, Paychex et QUALCOMM) recorded large trading volumes, one-third higher than their daily average.
