The US stock exchange Nasdaq ends the session very strongly down at -2.26%

At the end of the last transactions, the flagship index of the US technology exchange is down -2.26% to 14204.17 points.

The trading session was moderately active with a trading volume of 132.59 billion dollars. 676.56 million shares were traded. 15 stocks finished in the green and 84 were down.

The best performance of the day was attributed to Automatic Data Processing with 1.2% to 238 dollars. In second place on the podium, Verisk Analytics closed the session at 219.41 dollars, up 1.11%, followed by Exelon at 47.8 dollars (0.97%).

At the bottom of the pack is Marvell Technology. The share ends the trading session down -6.37% to 68.31 dollars. Moderna and Applied Materials are also lagging behind.

Several stocks (Analog Devices, Applied Materials, Keurig Dr Pepper, Lam Research, NXP Semiconductors, PACCAR, Paychex, QUALCOMM et Starbucks) recorded large trading volumes, one-third higher than their daily average.
