The US stock exchange Nasdaq ends the session down moderately at -0.41%

The trading session was moderately active with a trading volume of 173.42 billion dollars. 1,097.99 million shares were traded. 24 stocks finished in the green and 74 were down.

The best performance of the day was attributed to JD.com with 4.55% to 56.12 dollars. In second place on the podium, Amazon closed the session at 2404.19 dollars, up 4.4%, followed by Pinduoduo at 50.35 dollars (4.24%).

At the bottom of the pack is Xilinx. The share ends the trading day down -100% to 0 dollars. Illumina and Splunk are also lagging behind.

Several stocks (Activision Blizzard, Adobe, Alphabet, Amazon, Amgen, Analog Devices, Autodesk, Automatic Data Processing, Baidu, Biogen, Cadence Design Systems, CDW/DE, Cerner, Cintas, Cisco Systems, Cognizant, Copart, CSX, Dexcom, Dollar Tree, eBay, Exelon, Fox, Gilead Sciences, Illumina, Incyte, Intuit, JD.com, Keurig Dr Pepper, Kraft Heinz, Lululemon Athletica, Microchip Technology, NetEase, NXP Semiconductors, Okta, PACCAR, PepsiCo, Pinduoduo, QUALCOMM, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Splunk, Starbucks, Texas Instruments, Trip.com, Vertex Pharmaceuticals et Workday) recorded large trading volumes, one-third higher than their daily average.
