The Nasdaq Index ends the session very strongly up at 7.35%

At the end of the last transactions, the Nasdaq-100 rises by 7.35% to 11114.15 points.

The trading session was not very active with a trading volume of 166.3 billion dollars. 1,425.4 million shares were traded. 98 stocks finished in the green and 2 were down.

The best performance of the day was attributed to Marvell Technology with 16.18% to 42.65 dollars. In second place on the podium, Atlassian closed the session at 140.85 dollars, up 15.18%, followed by ASML Holding at 560.79 dollars (14.57%).

At the bottom of the pack is Seagen. The share ends the trading day down -5% to 131.06 dollars. Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Gilead Sciences are also lagging behind.

Several stocks (Activision Blizzard, Adobe, Align Technology, Alphabet, Amazon, Amgen, Analog Devices, ASML Holding, AstraZeneca, Atlassian, Automatic Data Processing, Broadcom, Cisco Systems, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Constellation Energy, Copart, Costco Wholesale, Crowdstrike, Datadog, eBay, Fiserv, Intel, Intuit, Intuitive Surgical, Keurig Dr Pepper, KLA, Lam Research, Lucid Group, Lululemon Athletica, Match Group, MercadoLibre, Meta Platforms, Microchip Technology, Microsoft, NXP Semiconductors, Okta, Old Dominion Freight Line, PACCAR, Palo Alto Networks, PayPal Holdings, Seagen, Skyworks Solutions, Tesla, Texas Instruments, Verisk Analytics, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Workday et Zoom Videommunications) recorded large trading volumes, one-third higher than their daily average.
