The Nasdaq Index closes the session very strongly up at 3.25%

At market close, the Nasdaq-100 rises by 3.25% to 12200.82 points.

The trading session was not very active with a trading volume of 198.9 billion dollars. 1,496.36 million shares changed hands. 73 stocks finished in the green and 27 were down.

The best performance of the day was attributed to Align Technology with 27.38% to 359.88 dollars. In second place on the podium, Meta Platforms closed the session at 188.77 dollars, up 23.28%, followed by DocuSign at 67.83 dollars (7.67%).

At the bottom of the pack is Sirius XM Holdings. The stock ends the trading session down -9.56% to 5.3 dollars. Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Pinduoduo are also lagging behind.
